Hudson Valley Appraisal provides appraisals for HUD’s FHA loan program and is one of a select few firms chosen to perform appraisals for the DEP’s Land Acquisition Program for New York City watershed, the New York State Department of Transportation, as well as other state and federal agencies. As one of only a few appraisers equipped to handle such complex requests, Hudson Valley Appraisal provides the avigation easement valuations in conjunction with runway expansions at various area airports. In addition to avigation easements, we also value surface and subsurface temporary and permanent easements for sewer, water and utilities.

Hudson Valley Appraisal had extensive experience in conducting valuations for conservation and agricultural easements. We have performed literally thousands of conservation easements for land trusts and acquisition programs, as well as a substantial number of agricultural easement valuations. We have experience in the highly complex methodology mandated by the IRS to accurately value these easements.

Our headquarters is in the heart of Ulster County near the city of Kingston. We also have a satellite office in the town of Margaretville, Delaware County.
